Privacy Policy
This policy applies to yt-automat, a private tool operated by a single owner for the owner's own YouTube channels. It is not a public service and has no other users.
Google and YouTube API Services
yt-automat uses Google OAuth 2.0 and YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3). By using it, the owner is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data is accessed
After the owner signs in with Google and gives consent, yt-automat reads and writes only data that belongs to the owner's own YouTube channels: video files the owner uploads, and each video's title, description, tags, thumbnail, playlist membership, audience setting and publication time, plus the owner's own channel and video lists. It does not access the data of any other person.
What data is stored
- OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored locally on the owner's own computer. They are not uploaded to any server.
- A local record of the owner's own videos (video ID, title, date) is kept to prevent duplicate uploads.
No data is stored on this website. The website contains only static pages.
Sharing and selling
Data is not shared with anyone, not sold, and not used for advertising. It is used only to publish the owner's own videos.
Retention and deletion
Tokens and the local record stay on the owner's computer until the owner deletes them. On request to the contact address below, any data related to this tool will be deleted.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time in your Google Account at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops yt-automat from making API calls for that account, and the local tokens become invalid.
Children
This tool is not directed to children and does not collect personal information about anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
